Foti International Fireworks began 2007 with spectacular signature firework displays in both Sydney and Melbourne.
In the 75th Anniversary year of Sydney Harbour Bridge, Foti produced a trademark display that maintains Sydney’s New Year celebrations as the place to be on December 31st. This year’s display, to the theme “A Diamond Night in the Emerald City” included a record number of firing locations for both the 9pm and midnight shows with six barges in total as well as 10 City rooftops and pontoons, making it Sydney’s largest display ever.
Melbourne’s display incorporated locations on the Yarra River (3 barges), New Quays, and Kings Domain. The display also included fireworks off the roof of the city’s new Eureka Tower, making it Australia’s highest fireworks display.
Both displays reinforced Foti’s position as Australia’s premier fireworks company where seamless pyrotechnic project management and premium fireworks combined to produce thrilling spectacles for Australia and the world.
The beginning of the New Year also saw the company display at Sydney’s Darling Harbour for Australia’s National Day (Australia Day, January 26) where Foti produced what organisers described as the most creative, artistic and spectacular Australia Day fireworks ever seen at Darling Harbour.
The success of the New Year/ National Day period caps off a successful 2006 for Foti, which included displays in Melbourne (Volvo Around the World Race), Perth (Sky Works), Canberra (Sky Fire), Montreal Canada, Brisbane (River Fire), Hong Kong, Macau, and Sydney (NRL Grand Final, Australian Idol).
Foti would again like to thanks the professionalism and dedication of their crew who helped make all these events the success they were.
