Foti have followed up their Japanese pyrotechnic design award with a First Place at this year’s World Firework’s Championship in Blackpool, England. The pyromusical display was performed on Friday 23rd September on the Blackpool North Pier.
The unique show was designed to the Tino Foti-produced ‘Welcome to Australia’ soundtrack, making it the accompanying soundtrack to two award winning shows. The awards confirm Foti’s credentials as Australia’s most awarded fireworks company.
“….your display certainly wowed the crowds and stunned the judges”, said Mike Chadwick from visitBlackpool, the event’s organiser (www.visitblackpool.com).

The win caps off a super September which has seen Foti produce barge displays in Sydney’s Darling Harbour, stadium flame spectacles for the NRL final’s series as well as close proximity effects for Australia’s X-Factor. This comes on top of producing the display for one of Australia’s largest and technically challenging firework shows, Brisbane’s RiverFire which is launched off barges, bridges and city rooftops.
October will also prove to be a busy month for Foti, kicking off with Sunday’s National Rugby League Grand Final Pre-Game pyro, run-on and scoring Flame Effects and winning team flutter. Also stay tuned for details about the 5th Annual Turkey National Day Fireworks on the Bosphorous, again to be produced by Foti at the end of October.
