Foti successfully delivered 9 pyrotechnic shows as part of the world renowned
Hong Kong Symphony of Light Show. The Hong Kong "Symphony of Lights" is recognised as the world
largest permanent light show and encompasses city buildings on both the Hong Kong and Kowloon sides of Hong Kong's
Victoria Harbour.
Specially designed pyrotechnics, developed by ICON Pyrotechnics, Foti's China-based export brand, were
launched from pontoons and barges on Victoria Harbour and were integrated with the spectacular nightly
13-minute Multi-Media Lights and Sound Show.
The first installment of 4 shows were held in June/July opposite Hong Kong's Coventions Centre at Wan Chai,
with the remaining 5 shows display opposite Hong Kongs Avenue of Stars at Tsim Sha Tsui East, Kowloon in September/October.
The successful delivery of the shows demonstrates Foti truly international pyrotechnic production capability in both manufacturing and displays. The
displays followed the supply of Foti's Australian-made indoor pyrotechnics for the Hong Kong production of
Phantom of the Opera.

"...the most spectacular pyrotechnical display the city has ever seen..."
The Sydney Morning Herald, January 01, 2006.
Heart-shape fireworks launched from Sydney Harbour and it's famous bridge introduced
the 1 million Sydney-siders on and around the harbour to 2006. With millions more watching on television
in Australia and around the world, Foti International Fireworks was proud to have produced a fireworks
display that was universally acclaimed as Sydney's "most spectacular".
"As the world's first major fireworks display for the New Year, we feel a responsibility to Sydney to
continually present something new and different," said Creative Director, Forch Foti.
"We are genuinely pleased to receive emails and feedback from the general public telling us how much they enjoyed the display
colours and effects. As pyrotechnicians this is the ulitmate compliment."
Foti would like to thank their crew for their dedication and professionalism in producing the show,
as well as thanking the City of Sydney Production and Creative team for their support. For the past six years Foti have
enjoyed a strong working relationship with the City of Sydney in producing the show.

""The best fireworks I've ever seen, they were really, really cool,
I liked the big sparkly ones."
A child spectator, reported on ABC News, January 01, 2006.
At the stroke of midnight seven locations throughout the City of Melbourne erupted in colour and sound
as the traditional New Year's Eve fireworks launched 2006. The Foti International Fireworks-produced display included
barge locations on the Yarra River and Docklands, as well as rooftop locations including Federation Square.
Crowds were estimated to be over 400 000, with another 800 000 seeing the display live on the Nine Network.
The digitally synchronised display featured fireworks specially made by Foti for the event.
"All of the fireworks the audience saw in Melbourne are Australian designed fireworks, with most made at
our own China manufacturing plant," said Hong Kong-based Quality Manager, Robert Foti.
"We combine the best of Australian ingenuity and our Italian fireworks tradition with Chinese know-how
to produce the most colourful, precise and exciting fireworks available. We're proud to have this
unique manufacturing ability which enables us to continually set the benchmark for fireworks display production."
Foti would like to thank both Events Australia and the City of Melbourne for their collaboration on
Melbourne's NYE fireworks over the past two years.
